Garbage Food Disposal

 History

The garbage disposal was invented in 1927 by John W. Hammes. He was an architect working in Racine Wisconsin. After eleven years of development, his InSinkErator company put his disposer on the market in 1968. Garbage disposal units became popular in American kitchens of the better-off in the 1970s and 1980s.

Garbage food disposal is usually electrically-powered, installed under a kitchen sink between the sink's drain and the trap  which shreds food waste into pieces small enough  to pass through plumbing.

We install and repair garbage food disposal.
